Ensuring minimum emissions combined with maximum yields from animal manure is therefore more important than ever.<\/p>\n

At Veenhuis we see animal manure as a valuable nutrient. With our solutions in precision fertilisation, we want to contribute to making agriculture more sustainable. By making maximum use of the nutrients in the manure, an optimum yield is achieved with a minimum input of artificial fertiliser. The quality of the crop is also better. Thanks to precision manure application, better nutrient utilisation is achieved, and it contributes to the reduction of nitrogen emissions through the low-emission application of manure.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Veenhuis Nutri-Flow” font_container=”tag:h1|font_size:26|text_align:left|color:%233b4559″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text font_size=”18″ line_height=”30″]Precision fertilisation involves optimising crop yields by controlling fertiliser application so that the right amount of fertiliser is available for the crop at the right place at the right time. On the basis of information about variations in the properties of the crop, soil and manure, the use of fertilisers can be determined on a site-specific basis. Instead of fertilising an entire field evenly, anticipatory or compensatory fertilisation can also be used. This means that less fertiliser is needed for the same yield, and the leaching of nutrients is limited. To achieve this, Veenhuis has developed the Nutri-Flow system.<\/p>\n

With the development of Nutri-Flow, Veenhuis made a start with the valuation of organic manure on the basis of a nutrient analysis. Based on NIRS (near infrared technique) analysis, the nutrients nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, ammonium and dry matter are measured in the manure. Analysis can take place at the source, before transport, but also real-time during emission-reducing application of organic manure.<\/p>\n

The Nutri-Flow sensor that measures the values in the manure is mounted on the tank. Based on the measured values in the manure, fertilisation takes place on a site-specific basis, the crop receives the exact quantity it needs. This ensures a more efficient use of the manure and reduces leaching and emissions. In the front linkage of the tractor a tank can be placed with a liquid fertiliser. The fertiliser can be dosed based on a task card. The system is fully Isobus-controlled and drives on the basis of GPS positioning. In addition, there is a section cut-off on the sampler so that overlap is kept to a minimum.<\/p>\n

The data collected during manuring is stored and can be used for the next manuring plan. A map shows exactly where the amount of manure has been applied and what the contents are.<\/p>\n

Nutri-Flow delivers an important contribution to precision agriculture and validates organic manure already before application and thus prevents excretion of nutrients and possible corrective cultivation measures afterwards.<\/p>\n
