Veenhuis Machines will be exhibiting at LAMMA’19, the UK’s largest agricultural and machinery show on 8 and 9 January 2019, in collaboration with Agri Industry Solutions. The Rotomax slurry reel will be presented at stand 12.720. This reel is equipped with the NutriFlow precision system, an innovation from Veenhuis that will receive the Future Innovation Silver Award during LAMMA’19. Adding to its Silver Innovation Award in the Future Innovation category, Veenhuis Nutri-Flow received the IVEL award in recognition of its environmental contribution. Veenhuis Rotomax
The Veenhuis Rotomax slurry reel minimises damage to the soil during injection and has a high throughput capacity. The short loading and unloading time of the reel allow efficient and effective use of the machine; including on smaller plots. Contrary to a regular drag hose system, the Rotomax uses a swivel arm to lower the supply hose to the ground and lift it again in the same spot. Because the tractor does not have to drag the hose, there is considerably less traction damage and no soil smearing as the hose is not dragged over the crop.
Veenhuis NutriFlow
Veenhuis Machines developed the NutriFlow system and is therefore at the foundation of vaulting organic manure based on the analysis of nutrients in organic manure. NIRS analysis techniques are used to determine the percentage of the following nutrients: nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, ammonium and dry matter.
Analysis can take place at source, before transport, but also in real-time during the low-emission application of organic manure. NutriFlow enables the agricultural sector to adapt specific organic fertiliser applications to suit the nutrient requirements of the soil and the crop per site.
NutriFlow contributes substantially to precision agriculture and validates organic manure before use. This minimises excretion of nutrients and avoids any corrective fertilisation with artificial fertiliser afterwards.
- Real-time analysis of organic manure
- Measures nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, ammonium and dry matter
- Registers phosphate, potassium, ammonium and dry matter during low-emission application
- Doses based on kg of nutrients per hectare
- Low-emission application and dosing of organic manure based on task cards
- Site-specific mixing of liquid fertiliser
- Automatic section control prevents overlap
