Meanwhile, research has shown that animal manure and slurry is a valuable nutrient for crops and soil. Moreover, application close to the roots of the plant is by far the most efficient method of organic manure application. The demand for food is increasing worldwide, so efficient and sustainable farming is becoming increasingly important. The solutions from Veenhuis have proven to be more efficient in nitrogen utilization and ensure optimal crop yields.

Due to the rising demand for food, agriculture with more sustainable techniques is becoming increasingly important. The prices of artificial fertilizers are also rising. The optimal use of nutrients from animal manure is therefore more important than ever. Both the Veenhuis slurry injectors for grass and arable land have proven to be more efficient in nitrogen utilization than other fertilization techniques.

Wide tyres and air pressure exchange systems

Veenhuis offers a wide range of large wide tyres on various machines. With wide tyres, the weight of the tank is better distributed, which reduces the ground pressure. When driving with a lower air pressure in the tyre, the pressure on the ground is even lower because there is a larger contact surface with the ground. Our Profiline tanks can also be equipped with a sliding axle, which reduces the amount of track travel in the field. All these solutions result in a lower fuel consumption, less structural damage to the crop and less tyre wear.

Articulated drawbar system

The Veenhuis Premiumline single-axle tanks can be equipped with an articulated drawbar. This system ensures that the tyres do not run through the same track as the tractor tyres.

The articulated drawbar also ensures that the tank causes less structural damage to the soil when turning at the headlands.

Four wheels in one row

The Veenhuis Premium Quad Shift tank has four wheels on one axle, which optimizes the weight distribution and eliminates overlap with the tractor wheels. The tank has maximum maneuverability in the field and is very stable and comfortable on the road. The outer wheels can extend, so that injecting on less load-bearing grounds and in wet conditions is enforceable.

Precision manure application

To combine high productivity with sustainability, precision fertilization is a must nowadays. Precision fertilization is the optimal application of manure to crops by controlling the application rate in such a way, that the desired amount of manure is available for the crop at any time. The use of GPS-systems and section control on injectors is crucial here. A GPS system system in combination with the Veenhuis injectors ensures that the manure can be applied at exactly the right place without overlap. In this way, the crop has exactly the amount of manure it needs, which results in maximum yields. The manure is used optimally, and surpluses and losses are reduced. If a task card is read into the system in advance, manure can be applied to the exact measure.

Nutri-flow precision fertilization

Veenhuis is the founder of the Nutri-flow system and takes it one step further when it comes to precision fertilization. With the Nutri-flow system, organic manure is valued on the basis of a nutrient analysis. Using NIRS, the nutrients nitrogen, phosphate and potassium are measured in the manure. This analysis can take place before the transport of manure, but also real-time during the application of it. The Veenhuis Nutri-flow system ensures that organic manure is used even more efficiently.
