The Veenhuis Rotomax slurry reel guarantees minimum soil damage and maximum capacity.
The Rotomax is a drag hose combination with a reel and a slurry injector. With this combination, the hose does not have to be dragged along and considerably less traction is needed and there is no smearing or plant damage. In combination with tyres that can be driven on this machine with a pressure of only 0.5 bar, this system gives the least disturbance to soil and crop, compared to all other systems on the market. In contrast to regular systems, the Veenhuis Rotomax places the supply hose on the ground with a swivel arm and picks it up at the same spot. This makes you very flexible in the field and a field can be finished just as with a tractor-tank combination.
The start-up and clearance times of the Rotomax are very low. On arrival at a field, you connect the hose and you can immediately start fertilising. When the field is finished, the hose can be cleaned with water or air, or you can disconnect and continue on the next field. The hose guide arm ensures that the hose can be lowered in all positions, up to the fertiliser injector with a width of 12 metres. This means that it is also possible to work in rows with this system. The hose guide arm is designed so that the hose runs smoothly through it and that any debris on the hose is immediately removed. This avoids wear on the hose. The hose life is considerably longer than with a regular drag hose system. The arm can be folded hydraulically for transport.
