Quanta pump unit

The Quanta pump unit from Veenhuis pumps the manure from the manure storage to the injector. The pump unit is standard equipped with a vacuum pump to fill the slurry chamber for the Bauer pump to start up. Then the Bauer pump takes care of pumping the manure to the hose supply system in the field. An 8″ turbo in the suction line ensures that the slurry chamber remains filled during pumping and the Bauer pump can do its work undisturbed.

After use, the hose and slurry injector can be flushed. For this purpose, the unit pumps water from the water tank, which has a capacity of 7000 litres, through the hose and the slurry injector. The driver of the tractor with slurry injector can operate the pump radio-controlled. This makes it possible to interrupt the supply of manure at the headlands, which prevents pressure peaks in the feed hose and damage to the hose. Optionally a water flow measurement can be installed. This allows the operator to see in the field how much water and how much manure is applied.
