Where the manure tanks stop, the Veenhuis drag hose systems continue’.
Due to a limited manure spreading period, contractors, livestock farmers and arable farmers are forced to spread or inject a lot of manure in a relatively short period of time. Less buoyant soils and wet weather conditions often make it difficult to move large tanks into the field early in the season. The result of frequent driving back and forth across the land is rutting and can lead to soil compaction. Soil compaction inhibits crop growth. With a drag hose system this problem is less present due to the constant supply of manure through the drag hose.
The Veenhuis drag hose injectors have a working width of up to 12 metres. In combination with low tyre pressure, the compaction of your soil is minimised during fertilisation. This optimises crop growth. Furthermore, there is no time wasted on loading and unloading; the feed system ensures that slurry is supplied continuously. A Veenhuis drag hose system can fertilise non-stop.
We offer various machines for drag hose fertilization. Our unique Rotomax slurry reel ensures that the hose is rolled up and does not have to be dragged along all the time. We also offer Premiumject slurry injectors with different arm designs. For the slurry supply we offer pump units and reels.
